Jérôme Bonetti and Elisabeth Charvet settled in Bourg-d’Oisans in 2013, where they raise goats and cows. The farm enables them to offer the public a wide choice of products, including fruit yoghurts, puddings, cheeses and faisselles. Breeders also take the time to welcome visitors wishing to learn more about their profession, but also about the animal cycle, their needs or their diet.

Description of Ferme de Châtillon

Jérôme and Elisabeth are young farmers who decided in 2013 to take over the Chèvrerie de l’Oisans. They’re bringing the farm back up to date. To complete the range of farm products, they reintroduce a small herd of eight dairy cows.
La Ferme de Chatillon offers a wide range of cow products:

  • fruit and plain yogurts ;
  • pudding creams ;
  • fresh and dry cheeses ;
  • cheese curds ;
  • tommes de Châtillon.

In addition, there are goat products:

  • fresh and dry cheeses ;
  • cheese curds ;
  • tommes de Châtillon.

These products can be purchased directly from Ferme de Châtillon. The public can also find them all year round at the markets in Domène (Thursday mornings) and Bourg-d’Oisans (Saturday mornings). These farm products can also be found in July and August on the market stalls in Allemond (Monday mornings), Mont-de-Lans (Wednesday mornings) and Oz (Thursday evenings).


Opening hours and prices of Ferme de Châtillon

Jérôme and Elisabeth are members of the “Route des Savoir-Faire de l’Oisans”. This “open door to Swiss mountain culture” brings together local artists, craftspeople, farmers and producers, who welcome visitors to their farms, workshops or museums.
Our farmers welcome visitors from January1 to December 31. You can visit the farm Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 7 pm.
Each tour is led by the owners and lasts one hour. Each group comprises a maximum of ten visitors. The fee is €2 per person, except for children under 5.
